					<description><![CDATA[Yes you&#039;re right Jonathan...I remember these pubs (Astra &amp; Bondi Hotel) were generally well-patronised when I was a young teenager and in the eyes of me and my friends at that time, they were pretty rough places, and heading into them was a bit of an adventure. And I guess that kind of rough side to Bondi is what I miss in some ways. Bondi is just so &quot;glossy&quot; and manicured now.]]></description>

Every time you walked in was an adventure, as you wondered if you were going to be attacked by a bunch of Maoris (before they all moved over to Manly). Ravesi&#039;s doesn&#039;t have nearly the same level of exctement, even with all the &#039;beautiful people&#039;.]]></description>
